Secondary school programme lead

We are now recuruiting a new part-time member of staff (30h/week) to deliver our school education programmes under the new overarching theme of ‘Explore and Engage: Learning through Nature. You will be responsible for designing, promoting, recruiting and delivering these programmes to an agreed target.

 

Main duties include:

  • Deliver an engaging and stimulating programme of activities to a range of secondary school groups with a focus on schools with high indices of deprivation. 
  • Promote and recruit visiting groups, ensuring booking forms and risk assessments are completed fully. 
  • Ensure evaluation forms are completed after each visit and collate for any reporting requirements.

Retail volunteer

Volunteers are sought to help with selling Susan's Farm produce at Farmers' Markets, events and pop up stalls. If you like people and you are enthusiastic about "you are what you eat ", the importance of eating locally sourced organic produce and enjoy cooking this could be the ideal volunteering opportunity for you!

Training can be given.

Trustee

Susan’s Farm is seeking to appoint additional Trustees, who share the passion and commitment of the Farm in fulfilling its purposes and ambitions. We want to increase the overall number of Trustees and are looking for energetic people with various skills and experience to work alongside our existing trustees. We particularly want to fill our knowledge and skills gaps regarding fundraising, marketing, HR, financial management and championing or managing community-based youth work. We are also keen to find out more about alternative skills and experiences you may have to offer.
