Governance

There are four Trustees of Susan's Farm CIO and they are responsible for the running of Susan's Farm.

Day to Day Management is delegated to a Management Committee of trustees, staff and volunteers through a scheme of delegation.

Our policies are there to guide staff, volunteers and service users about how Susan's Farm manages its activities.

These are approved by a Management Committee and/or Board of Trustees and are regularly reviewed.

Farms and the countryside, with the proper preparation and safeguards, are a safe and enjoyable place to visit, learn and work.

All our activities are fully risk assessed prior to any visit.

We ask all group leaders to undertake a pre-visit visit to familiarise themselves with the setting.
