This year nature has been recognised for its mental health benefits by becoming the focus of the mental health awareness campaign
The Mental Health Foundation have set out 5 ways in which we can connect with nature to achieve a greater sense of wellbeing in our lives.
Public Health England's 5 ways to wellbeing are:
Connect - Connect with the people around you and build meaningful relationships
Be Active - Find a form of exercise that makes you feel good
Take Notice - Be aware of the world around you and how it makes you feel
Keep Learning - Try something new and set yourself new challenges
Give - Using your skills to help those around you is rewarding
